The Cabin was built in 1954 by John Venche. It is still owned by the Venche family today and is one of the oldest structures in Oak Creek Canyon. The best part of The Cabin: PRIVACY! You cannot see it from Google Earth, (great tree canopy) and tourists are not allowed on or near the property.
The Cabin has been under a renovation to bring it back to its' 1950's era glory. There are no phones, ( there is cell service) and no cable. There is a TV with a DVD/ VCR combo so you won't go without your favorite movies, but this was the original idea for The Cabin; to get away from it ALL.
