Just 4 miles South down 89A is the world famous town of Sedona. All kinds of shops, restaurants, and beautiful art galleries to explore.
Jeep tours.
Check out a jeep tour to take you back into the red rock country.
Horse rides.
There are all kinds of trails to ride and many companies providing guided tours.
Attractions
Slide Rock State Park
The only nature waterslide park made of natural rock! Only 2 miles North of The Cabin on Route 89A, this is great fun for everyone. Get there early!
The Grand Canyon
Just under 2 hours away, The Grand Canyon is the most visited place in Arizona. Sedona is 2nd. It is currently $50.00 to get into the park, ( per car) and it is just an incredible sight.
The Rainbow Trout Farm
You can actually walk down to this great place to experience some real creek fishin'. Great for first time anglers!
Places of Interest
Jerome, Arizona
Jerome was originally a mining town which became an artist haven in the 1960's. A great place to shop and explore. About 45 minutes from The Cabin on Route 89A just up the mountain from cottonwood.
Talaquepaque
Located in Sedona, Talaquepaque is a beautiful Spanish architectural structure containing shops, galleries, and restaurants. One of the nicest places in the area.
Montezuma's Castle
See how the Native Americans lived in this amazing site. Their homes were actually built into the walls of a cliff. Hard to describe, but really a great place to learn and explore.
